Highway
Montrose is located at the intersection of Highway's 50 and 550. Highway 50 runs North-South from Utah through Grand Junction, Delta, and Montrose. It turns East-West in Montrose and goes through Gunnison and on to Pueblo. Highway 550 runs North-South from Montrose to Durango and into New Mexico. The nearest interstate, I-70, is 50 miles to the North of Montrose.
Air
Montrose Regional Airport is the primary commercial airport. This beautifully designed modern jetport provides two asphalt runways—one 10,000 feet, the other 8,498 feet in length.
