Montrose Air Service

Montrose Regional Airport is the primary commercial airport. Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) has two runways. The Airport is served year round by United Express operated by Skywest to Denver. Summer service is provided by Continental Airlines to Houston. Winter service expands to Houston and Newark operated by Continental Airlines, service to Dallas and Chicago with American Airlines, Los Angeles on United, and Salt Lake City and Atlanta with Delta Airlines.

Atlantic Aviation provides Fixed Base Operations (FBO) aviation services at the Montrose County Airport.

The winter schedule will be finalized soon, but here is a preview of non-stop routes on the map above.  A few updates for this winter 2021-22 season:

New Phoenix (PHX) daily! United: Regular routes with Denver, Newark, Houston, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles to Montrose( MTJ), American: Regular routes with Dallas-Ft.Worth, Chicago, NY-LaGuardia, Los Angeles and Phoenix to MTJ, Charlotte (CLT) will not return this winter, Southwest: Regular routes to Denver and Dallas-Love Field (DAL) to MTJ, Handful of new flights from Houston-Hobby (HOU) to MTJ, Delta: Returning with Atlanta (ATL) flights to MTJ
JetBlue: Will not return with Boston (BOS) this winter, targeting 2022-23, Denver Air (also bookable through United and connecting to the United network) to Telluride (TEX): Returning Denver daily.
