Montrose Regional Health (MRH) is a 75-bed regional medical center serving Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel Counties, that has an active medical staff that includes 85 physicians who represent 24 medical specialties.

Montrose Regional Health has been featured in the Wall Street Journal as one of the Top 100 Hospitals in the US and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. MRH is also a member of The American Hospital Association and The Colorado Hospital Association. 

Healthcare Services

MRH, a recently expanded, state-of-the-art regional medical center, provides an extensive range of healthcare services, including comprehensive cancer therapy at the San Juan Cancer Center. The hospital offers a comprehensive list of services, including 24-hour Emergency care by Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians, inpatient and outpatient surgery, rehabilitation services, and a Cancer Center associated with the University of Colorado Cancer Center. The hospital also features state of the art MRI and CT scanners and cardiology services which include a cardiac cath lab. We are “Friends and Family, Caring for Friends and Family”.

San Juan Cancer Center
The San Juan Cancer Center at Montrose Regional Health offers Complete Cancer Care Close to Home. The San Juan Cancer Center provides radiation therapy treatments for oncology patients, in addition to medical oncology (chemotherapy) treatment. The Cancer Center serves patients from Montrose, Delta, Gunnison, Ouray, Ridgway, Telluride and many other surrounding communities.  In addition to our full-time, Board Certified Oncologist, Montrose Regional Health also has an association with the University of Colorado Cancer Center for medical oncology services, which brings physicians from the University to Montrose to help care for patients locally.
