Montrose Regional Health
Montrose Regional Health (MRH) is a 75-bed regional medical center serving Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel Counties, that has an active medical staff that includes 85 physicians who represent 24 medical specialties.
Healthcare Services
MRH, a recently expanded, state-of-the-art regional medical center, provides an extensive range of healthcare services, including comprehensive cancer therapy at the San Juan Cancer Center. The hospital offers a comprehensive list of services, including 24-hour Emergency care by Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians, inpatient and outpatient surgery, rehabilitation services, and a Cancer Center associated with the University of Colorado Cancer Center. The hospital also features state of the art MRI and CT scanners and cardiology services which include a cardiac cath lab. We are “Friends and Family, Caring for Friends and Family”.

San Juan Cancer Center
The San Juan Cancer Center opened its doors on April 3, 2006, providing state-of-the-art cancer care closer to home for residents of a huge seven-county area in southwestern Colorado. The facility is an unqualified success, exceeding projections for the number of patients seen to date and surpassing the expectations of those who enter its doors for treatment.
Here, cancer patients and their families have access to the best of both worlds: small-town warmth and big-city expertise. Personalized care in a friendly, caring atmosphere is coupled with an outstanding, dedicated and experienced staff and state-of-the-art technology.

Ambulatory Care Center
Ambulatory care center : Ambulatory care is a term for services performed on an outpatient basis – in other words, with no admission to the hospital. Our Ambulatory Care Center’s focus is on helping patients in a way that does not require an overnight stay.
MRH services offered in the new center include Spine & Pain, Mountain View Therapy, minor procedures, outpatient laboratory, and medical imaging, with a specially designed area specifically for mammography and women’s imaging. Alpine Women’s Centre has also moved to this new location to better serve patients.
