For Immediate Release: Construction begins on The HUB at Montrose Crossing Montrose, CO September 17th, 2026.

Construction officially began September 15th on The HUB at Montrose Crossing, a 160-unit higher-end market-rate apartment community representing an approximate $53 million investment in Montrose. Located at 825 Cobble Drive, The HUB sits adjacent to Cobble Creek Golf Course, across from the fairway, driving range and clubhouse, within an established South Montrose neighborhood. The community’s amenity package includes a swimming pool and spa, fitness and meeting facilities, private garages and dedicated large and small dog parks with a pet spa.

The HUB is being developed through a collaboration between longtime Montrose residents Matt and Marci Miles and NE Development of Lewisville, Texas. NE Construction is serving as general contractor and NE Management will manage the completed community. “Marci and I have watched Montrose grow and change for many years. When we were the original developers of what is now Spruce Point, we envisioned this remaining piece someday becoming a high-quality multifamily community,” said Matt Miles. “More than 20 years later, The HUB is bringing that vision to life.” “We believe there is a real need for a higher level of rental housing here, and The HUB is about creating something different. A quality residential community with the setting and amenities people increasingly expect.” Lease-up is expected to begin approximately 20 months after the September 15th start, with full community completion anticipated within approximately 24 months.
In the early 2000s, Matt and Marci Miles developed a 79-acre commercial property encompassing River Landing and Oxbow Crossing, including the Target Center and Montrose Regional Health’s new medical facility. That development, together with The Hub at Montrose Crossing, reflects the Mileses’ significant and long-standing investment in the Montrose community.
